McNicholl Visit + Flat Tire!

We stayed in a nice little campground named Dakins Lake, near Ames, Iowa. We loved our afternoon with the McNicholl clan! We enjoyed BBQ, visiting, and listening to Xavier entertain us with his new electric guitar.

The morning we were leaving Iowa, we discovered we had a flat tire! Not a simple affair for a class A motorhome. So we spent longer in Ames, got the tire replaced, and got back on the road, after an exhaustive reworking of the trip. We had to cancel stays at 3 parks and make new reservations at 4 parks.
