The stops just keep getting better and better!! Unbelievable visit to the Wright Brothers National Memorial!! It is one thing to read about the Wright brothers’ amazing 1903 feat of achieving the first powered air flight, but another thing entirely to be at the spot where it happened. Learning about their unstoppable determination and unwillingness to give up was truly inspiring.

We also drove a few miles down the road to a less-visited site to see where the garage of a local resident was, where the Wright brothers built parts of the plane.
