Finally in Michigan!!

On our way through northern Indiana, we went through many fields of crops and quaint towns. We also saw a lot of Amish people in their horse-drawn carriages.

We camped at Ft. Custer Campground outside of Battle Creek, MI, the cereal capital of our country (think Kellogg and Post). We went to a small community fair, and one of the giveaways was free cereal!

The next phase of our adventure requires a type of trip planning that is new to us. Namely, few restrictions on where we go and how long we stay, balanced with determining the camp sites available shortly before we arrive.
